Lessons in weight loss
The following presentation was given on October 26, 2020 at St. Thomas Parish, Peoria Heights, IL.
Msgr. Gray lost over 60 pounds from January to October. Along the way, there are many lessons to share:
- Understanding diet and exercise, calories in and calories out
- The importance of motivation
- Techniques in healthy eating, calorie tracking, and exercise logs
- Dealing with hunger and managing setbacks
- Transforming the mind as well as the body by reading books (with a list of book suggestions)
- The mindset transformation needed to maintain consistency and achieve a goal
