Reflections on Silence

The following presentation was given as part of a 2017 adult education series offered at St. Thomas Parish, Peoria Heights, IL.

Silence is important in recognizing the presence of God and in developing a life of prayer. Silence helps us become recollected and develop the fruits of contemplation. Silence is an essential element of the liturgy and is found in religious life.
