The use of dual words in Hebrew:
Hebrew words can be singular, plural or dual. The following words are some of the dual words that are found frequently in the Old Testament.
Why do you think these words regularly appear in the dual number?
Note the common ending "-ayim" in dual words.
(*) The actual name of Babylon is (Babel) or in Greek (Babylon). The derogatory nickname above is translated literally as "double insolence."
